Cinnamon recall: Don’t buy these 11 ground cinnamon products; Throw out ASAP

Up to 11 ground cinnamon products have been recalled over concerns that the products might contain lead, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Super Brand cinnamon is the most recent product to join the list after routine testing from the Arkansas Department of Health found abnormally high levels of lead.
No illnesses or adverse affects have been reported in connection to this product at this time.
Because the “elevated” levels of lead have been deemed harmful to consumers, the FDA is urging customers not to purchase the ground cinnamon and if they already have the products in their cupboards, to throw them out.
The agency also advised people to talk to a health care provider if they have consumed any of the ground cinnamon products or show symptoms of lead poisoning.
